Overnight Chicken Casserole is an impressive dinner. Made with 8 slices day old white bread, 4 c. chopped cooked chicken, 1 (4 1/2 oz.) jar sliced mushrooms, drained, 1 (8 oz.) can sliced water chestnuts, drained and 4 eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Remove the crusts from the bread; set aside.
Arrange bread slices in a greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish.
Top with chicken.
Cover with the mushrooms and water chestnuts.
In a bowl, beat eggs; blend in milk, mayonnaise and salt.
Pour over chicken.
Arrange cheese on top.
Combine soups and pimientos; pour over cheese.
Cover; refrigerate overnight.
