Oven-Fried Chicken
Oven-Fried Chicken is an moderately easy dinner. Made with approximately 3 1/2 lb. chicken, 5 tbsp. butter, 1/4 c. flour, 2 tsp. dry mustard and 1 tsp. paprika, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Select a pan large enough to hold the chicken without overlapping.
Melt 3 tablespoons butter.
Mix the flour, mustard, paprika, pepper and salt in a paper bag.
Shake the chicken pieces in it one at a time.
Lay the floured chicken in the pan; turn in the butter once.
Dot with small pieces of butter.
Bake in a moderate oven at 350° for 35 minutes for small chickens or 45 minutes for large.
Turn once during this time.
Turn the oven to a very hot 450° and bake 10 to 15 minutes more, until chicken is brown and bubbly.
