Orange Sponge Cake
Orange Sponge Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 1/4 c. cake flour, 1 1/2 c. sugar, 3 tsp. baking powder, 1/2 c. vegetable oil and 4 unbeaten egg yolks, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Sift together flour, sugar and baking powder.
Make a well and add oil, egg yolks, liquid and orange rind.
Beat egg whites, cream of tartar and salt until whites are stiff.
Fold into preceding mixture.
Bake in a tube pan or Bundt pan which has been greased and floured.
Bake at 325° for 55 minutes.
Turn oven to 350° and bake 10 minutes more.
Cool before icing.
