Orange Slice Cake
Orange Slice Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. butter, 1/2 c. buttermilk, 3 1/2 c. all-purpose flour, 2 c. sugar and 4 eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Prepare dates, candy and nuts by cutting up finely and roll in a portion of the flour.
Cream butter with the sugar.
Add eggs, one at a time, and blend well.
Add buttermilk.
Stir together the remaining ingredients and add to mixture.
Fold in dates, nuts and orange slices.
Add coconut.
Bake at 250Β° for 3 hours.
Leave cake in pan and frost with the Orange Slice Frosting.
