Orange Slice Cake
Orange Slice Cake is an impressive dessert you can prepare in about 1 hour 42 minutes. Made with margarine, c. sugar, c. self-rising flour, eggs and c. buttermilk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
Cream margarine and sugar.
Add eggs, one at a time. Add buttermilk and flour alternately. Fold in nuts, coconut and fruit, that has been chopped fine and dusted with 1/2 cup of the flour.
Cook at 325Β° for 2 hours and 15 minutes.
Take out of the oven and while hot, pour 1 cup of orange juice and 1/2 cup sugar (which has been heated) over top of the cake. Let stand in pan until it is cold.
