In a medium saucepan, combine sugar and water.
Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until sugar dissolves.
Cool. Add juices and peel to cooled sugar syrup.
Cover and let stand at room temperature 1 hour.
Strain syrup; cover and refrigerate.
