Orange Cream Salad
Orange Cream Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (3 oz.) pkg. orange jello, 1 c. boiling liquid, 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, 3/4 c. evaporated milk and 2 tsp. grated orange rind, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Dissolve jello in boiling liquid (the reserved pineapple juice and water).
Set aside.
Beat cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add evaporated milk and beat well.
Slowly stir milk mixture into gelatin.
Stir in rind and orange juice.
Add pineapple and mandarin oranges.
Pour into 6 cup mold which has been lightly brushed with oil.
Refrigerate several hours or overnight.
