Onion Soup

Cook onion in butter and oil for 15 minutes, covered.
Uncover and add salt; cook on medium-high for 40 minutes, until golden brown.
Stir in flour and stir for 3 minutes.
Add bouillon and wine and bring to a boil.
Reduce heat and simmer for 30 to 40 minutes.
