Onion Shortcake
Onion Shortcake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 large onions, thinly sliced, 1/2 c. margarine or butter, 1/8 tsp. salt, 8 oz. grated cheddar cheese, divided in half and 1/2 tsp. dill weed, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Saute onion in margarine and cool.
Add sour cream, salt, dill weed and half of cheese.
Mix muffin mix with corn, egg and milk.
Pour in 13 x 9-inch cake pan, then onion mixture, then top with last half of shredded cheese.
Bake at 425Β° for 30 to 40 minutes.
