Onion Pie
Onion Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 8 onions, sliced thin, 3 tbsp. cooking oil, 1 egg, 1/2 c. thin cream and seasoning, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Cook onions in oil until golden, but not brown.
Spread onions on bottom of pie shell.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Mix egg with cream; pour over all.
Bake until the pie is slightly brown on top.
Sprinkle crumbled bacon over the top and serve. (This may be served with a salad, a drink and dessert.)
Bake for 20 minutes at 450Β° or until pie is brown.
