One-Week Slaw
One-Week Slaw is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 large head cabbage, 1 carrot, 1 onion, 3/4 c. sugar and 1 c. vinegar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Combine shredded cabbage, carrot and chopped onion.
Pour sugar over these. Bring to a boil the vinegar, salt, mustard and celery seed.
Add oil and bring to a boil again.
Pour hot vinegar and oil mixture over the slaw mixture. Cover tightly and chill. Don't stir until you are ready to serve the slaw.
Keeps well for up to 1 week!
