One-Step Lasagna
One-Step Lasagna is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. ground beef, 32 oz. jar spaghetti sauce, 3/4 c. water, 1 tsp. basil leaves and 1 tsp. oregano leaves, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Heat oven to 350Β°.
In large skillet, brown ground beef, drain.
Stir in spaghetti sauce, water, basil, and oregano. Simmer 5 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
In small bowl, combine cottage cheese and egg.
In ungreased 13 x 9-inch pan, layer 1/3 of noodles, 1/3 of meat sauce, 1/3 of cottage cheese mixture and 1/3 of Mozzarella cheese; repeat layers ending with Mozzarella on top.
Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
Cover with foil; bake for 30 minutes.
Remove foil; bake an additional 25 to 30 minutes.
Let stand 10 to 15 minutes before serving.
