Soak yeast in 1/2 cup cold water.

Cream together shortening and sugar; add to this 1/2 cup boiling water and mix until well blended.

Add eggs and then yeast, mixing well.

Add dry ingredients.

When this is mixed, it will be a stiff batter.

Put in refrigerator overnight.

About an hour before serving, roll out. Let rise.

Bake at 400Β° until as brown as you like.

(Can be shaped into cloverleaf rolls.)

Put in greased muffin tins to brown.
