One Hour Rolls
One Hour Rolls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 pkg. dry yeast, 4 c. flour, 2 c. buttermilk, 2 tbsp. sugar and 2 tbsp. shortening, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Warm buttermilk, mix sugar and yeast together and then add to buttermilk.
Add melted shortening (not hot).
Add flour mixture to which salt, baking powder and soda have been added. Mix well. Knead a little.
Make into small balls and put into greased baking dish.
Let rise 45 minutes or until double in size.
Bake at 400Β° until brown.
