One Hour Rolls
One Hour Rolls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 pkg. dry yeast, 1/4 c. warm water, 1 1/2 c. warm buttermilk, 1/4 c. sugar and 1/2 c. melted shortening, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Dissolve yeast in warm water.
Add milk, sugar, shortening and salt.
Stir in flour which has been sifted with soda.
Mix well. Allow to stand 10 minutes.
Roll out and cut or shape as desired. Allow to rise until double in bulk, about 30 minutes.
Bake at 425Β° for 10 to 12 minutes.
Yields 24 rolls.
