Olive Surprises
Olive Surprises is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. butter or margarine, softened, 1 c. grated sharp cheddar cheese, 1/2 c. sifted flour, 36 stuffed olives, drained and 1/4 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Cream butter or margarine and Cheddar cheese until blended. Add remaining ingredients, except olives, and mix well.
Chill 15 to 20 minutes.
Shape a small portion of dough around each olive. Bake at 400Β° about 15 minutes.
If desired, these may be frozen on cookie sheet, put in plastic bags and stored in freezer until needed.
Best served hot.
