Old-Timey Biscuits is an easy dinner. Made with 5 c. self-rising flour, 3 c. buttermilk, 1 c. lard and 1 tsp. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Sift flour and cut lard into mixture.
Add sugar and buttermilk; mix well with hands.
Roll out and place apart on baking sheet that has been greased with margarine.
Bake at 450Β° for about 18 minutes, or until brown on the bottom, then broil tops until golden brown.
Brush margarine over the tops while hot.
