Pour sugar, oil and syrup in a bowl and mix well.
Add eggs and mix well.
Add flour, nutmeg, cinnamon and ginger.
Mix well.
Add soda to boiling water and pour into all ingredients and mix well. Pour cake into a 9 x 13-inch baking pan and bake at 350Β° for 40 minutes in a preheated oven.
