Old-Fashioned Tea Cakes
Old-Fashioned Tea Cakes is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. all-purpose flour, 2 tsp. baking powder, 1/2 tsp. salt, 1 tsp. nutmeg and 1 c. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Mix all ingredients, except water or milk with fingertips. Add enough water or milk to make dough stiff enough to be rolled out.
Roll out dough fairly thin.
Sprinkle surface of dough with additional sugar.
Cut dough into rounds.
Place on greased cookie sheet and bake at 350Β° for 10 minutes or until brown.
Makes about 3 dozen cookies.
