Cream shortening with molasses.
Add egg.
Mix all dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture.
Add milk and beat to a stiff dough.
Roll out to thickness of pie dough.
Cut out with scalloped pie can. Place on cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes. Put together with sweetened well flavored applesauce.
Makes 9 layers.
