Old Fashioned Rice Pudding
Old Fashioned Rice Pudding is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 3/4 c. water, 1/2 c. rice, 1/2 tsp. salt, 2 c. milk and 1/4 c. raisins, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Bring water to a boil.
Stir in rice and salt.
Cover and simmer until all water is absorbed, about 30 minutes.
Add milk and boil gently, stirring occasionally until mixture thickens slightly, about 5 minutes.
Combine eggs, sugar and vanilla in a bowl. Gradually stir in rice mixture.
Mix well.
Stir in raisins and sprinkle spices over top.
Place casserole in a pan of water about 1 inch deep.
Bake uncovered at 350Β° for 45 to 50 minutes.
