Old-Fashioned Nut Loaf
Old-Fashioned Nut Loaf is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2/3 c. butter, 3 eggs, 2 tsp. baking powder, 1/3 c. milk and 1 c. finely chopped pecans, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Cream the butter, gradually adding sugar and beat until light and fluffy.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Sift together the flour, baking powder and salt. Repeat sifting and add to creamed mixture alternately with milk, beginning and ending with flour.
Mix just until blended.
Gently stir in pecans and vanilla.
Spoon batter into greased loaf pan. Bake at 350Β° for 1 hour or until cake tests done.
Cool in pan 10 minutes.
Remove from pan and cool completely on a wire rack.
