Old Fashioned Bread Pudding
Old Fashioned Bread Pudding is an easy dinner. Made with 1/4 c. melted butter or margarine, 2 eggs, slightly beaten, 1/4 tsp. salt, 1/2 c. raisins and 1 tsp. cinnamon or nutmeg, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Pour over 4 cups coarse bread crumbs (I use day old French bread torn into small chunks).
Heat oven to 350Β°.
Pour mixture into buttered 1 1/2-quart casserole.
Place casserole in baking pan with about 1/2-inch water.
Bake 40 to 45 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
Serve warm.
Yields 6 servings.
