Old Fashioned Apple Cobbler
Old Fashioned Apple Cobbler is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 boxes pie crust mix, 12 tart apples, 1/4 lb. (1 stick) butter, 2 whole c. granulated sugar and 1 c. brown sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Mix boxes of pie crust mix; divide in half.
Place 1/2 in bottom of an oblong pan.
Save the other half for the top of the cobbler.
Peel apples and slice.
Add butter, sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg on top of apples and mix together.
Sprinkle vanilla on top of ingredients.
Place mixture in the prepared oblong pan.
Roll out the other half of pie crust and place over top of mixture.
Bake for 1 hour or until golden brown at 350Β°. Will serve about 12 people.
