Oklahoma Pecan Pie
Oklahoma Pecan Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 eggs, lightly beaten, 1 c. maple flavor pancake and waffle syrup, 1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar, 1/2 c. granulated sugar and 3 tbsp. butter or margarine, melted, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Heat oven to 425°.
For filling, combine eggs, syrup, brown sugar, granulated sugar, butter, Crisco, vanilla and salt in large bowl.
Mix until well blended.
Stir in nuts.
Spoon into unbaked pie shell.
Bake for 10 minutes.
Reduce temperature to 350°. Bake for 30 to 45 minutes.
Cool to room temperature before serving.
