Mix margarine, powdered sugar, vanilla and salt.
Add flour and oatmeal.
On an ungreased cookie sheet, drop teaspoonful in ball.
Flatten.
Bake 20 to 25 minutes.
Dip cookies in melted chocolate and nuts.
Makes 4 1/2 dozen.
