Oatmeal Drop Biscuits
Oatmeal Drop Biscuits is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. all-purpose flour, 1 tbsp. baking powder, 1/4 c. shortening, 1 c. quick-cooking rolled oats and 1 beaten egg, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Stir thoroughly the flour, baking powder and 1/2 teaspoon salt.
Cut in shortening until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in oats.
Combine egg, milk and honey.
Add all at once to dry mixture.
Stir just until moistened.
Drop by spoonfuls onto greased baking sheet.
Bake at 425Β° for 8 to 10 minutes.
Makes 12 biscuits.
