Oatmeal Chip Bars
Oatmeal Chip Bars is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. margarine, softened, 1/2 c. sugar, 1/2 c. packed brown sugar, 1 1/4 c. flour and 1 1/2 c. quick oats, uncooked, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Cream butter.
Gradually add sugar, beating well with mixer at medium speed.
Add eggs and vanilla.
Beat well.
Combine flour, soda and salt.
Add to creamed mixture and mix well.
Stir in oats, chips and pecans.
Spread mixture into a greased 9 x 13 x 2-inch pan.
Bake at 375Β° for 25 minutes.
Cool and cut into squares.
Yields 4 dozen.
