Oatmeal Cake
Oatmeal Cake is an impressive dessert you can prepare in about 1 hour 12 minutes. Made with c. boiling water, c. minute oats, c. margarine, softened, c. sugar and c. packed dark brown sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Pour boiling water over oats and margarine.
Let stand for 20 minutes.
Mix all dry ingredients: sugar, dark brown sugar, flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt.
Beat in eggs, vanilla and milk. Add oat mixture to the rest of the ingredients.
Place mixture in 9-inch square pan (greased).
Bake in preheated oven at 325Β° for about 55 minutes.
