Oatmeal Cake
Oatmeal Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. boiling water, 1 c. quick cooking oatmeal, 1 stick butter, 1 c. sugar and 2 eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Pour boiling water over oatmeal.
Place butter on top and cover.
Let stand 20 minutes.
Add remaining ingredients.
Mix well and bake at 350Β° in an oblong 9 x 13-inch pan for about 30 to 40 minutes or until pick inserted in center comes out clean.
While cake is baking, prepare topping.
