Boil water; add oats.
Let stand for 20 minutes.
Cream margarine and sugars; add well beaten eggs.
Mix altogether.
Add vanilla, flour, cinnamon, salt and soda.
Bake at 350Β° for 35 minutes in a well-greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan.
