Combine butter or margarine, quick oats and boiling water. Let stand for 20 minutes.
Then add white sugar, brown sugar, eggs, flour, salt, baking soda, nutmeg and cinnamon.
Pour into a 9 x 13-inch pan and bake at 350Β° for 30 minutes.
