Oat Bread
Oat Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. rolled oats, 2 c. boiling water, 2 pkg. yeast, 2 1/2 tsp. salt and 1/2 c. molasses or honey, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Soak oats in boiling water; let rest 20 minutes.
Mix yeast in 1/3 cup lukewarm water.
To the oatmeal mixture, add salt, molasses or honey, oleo and yeast mixture.
Add flour, 2 cups at a time, kneading in the last 2 cups.
Shape mound and let rise in a greased bowl for 2 hours or more.
Cut down with a knife several times.
Shape in 2 greased loaf pans.
Bake at 325Β° for 50 minutes.
