Nutty Cracker Delights
Nutty Cracker Delights is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3/4 c. butter (1 1/2 sticks), 3/4 c. sugar, 1 pkg. saltine crackers, 12 oz. chocolate chips and 1/4 c. nuts, chopped fine, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Place crackers in a single layer in a foil lined 15 x 10-inch baking pan. Melt butter. Add sugar and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Cook for 10 minutes. Remove from heat and add vanilla. Pour evenly over crackers.
Bake in a 350Β° oven for 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly browned.
Remove from oven. Sprinkle chocolate chips and spread when chips melt.
Sprinkle with chopped nuts and gently pat into chocolate. Cool in refrigerator for a few hours. Break into pieces.
