Nut Strudel
Nut Strudel is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/4 lb. soft butter, 1/2 c. sugar, 1/2 pt. sour cream, 4 egg yolks and 1 cake yeast, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Dissolve yeast in 1/2 cup warm water.
Mix butter, sugar, sour cream, egg yolks and flour with the yeast and water.
Mix dough well and let it rise for 2 to 2 1/2 hours.
Mix nuts and confectioners sugar together.
Beat 4 egg whites until stiff and add to nut mixture.
If too thick, add a little milk.
Roll dough 1/8-inch thick and spread with nut mixture.
Roll tight.
Let rise again until double in size.
Bake in a greased pan at 350Β° for about 20 or 25 minutes.
Makes 2 rolls.
Can be iced.
