Beat butter until creamy.
Add sugar, mixing until light and fluffy.
Stir in flour and nuts; mix well.
Shape into 1-inch balls.
Bake on greased baking sheet in oven preheated to 350Β° for 12 to 15 minutes.
Remove from oven.
While still warm, roll cookies in additional sugar, then cool completely on rack.
