Nut Cake
Nut Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 1/2 sticks margarine, 2 c. sugar, 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder, 4 1/2 c. plain flour and 2 1/2 tbsp. lemon extract, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Melt margarine on low flame.
Cream with sugar; mix well.
Add well beaten eggs, then add lemon extract.
Sift flour and baking powder.
Add white raisins and pecans.
Add to other mixture. Bake in tube pan lined with 2 layers of brown paper.
Bake for 2 hours at 275Β°.
Cover with flat piece of foil.
Put pan of water below rack.
When 2 hours is up, remove foil and let brown.
