Nut Cake
Nut Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 c. sifted cake flour, 1 3/4 c. sugar, 2 tsp. baking powder, 1 1/2 tsp. salt and 2 tsp. vanilla or 1 tsp. vanilla and 1 tsp. almond extract, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Sift flour, sugar, baking powder and salt in large bowl.
Add Crisco, milk and 2 eggs.
Beat for 3 minutes.
Add remaining 2 eggs and beat for 3 minutes.
Fold in nuts.
Put in well-greased tube pan.
Bake at 375Β° for 1 hour and 20 minutes.
Cool on wire rack for 15 to 20 minutes.
Remove from pan.
