*Nut Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. butter, 1 1/2 c. sugar, 5 eggs, 1 tsp. cinnamon and 2 1/2 c. flour, sifted, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Cream the butter and sugar together. Add eggs, one at a time, and beat well after each addition. Stir in cinnamon, flour and baking powder.
Stir in walnuts. Turn batter into a greased 10 x 14 x 2-inch pan. Bake in a hot 400Β° oven for 30 to 35 minutes until cake tests done. Remove from oven and while hot, pour cool Syrup over it. Cut into diamond shape.
