Nut Bread
Nut Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. nuts, 3/4 c. raisins, 1/3 c. bourbon, 6 eggs, separated and 2 1/4 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.

Soak nuts and raisins in bourbon for 2 hours.
Drain, saving liquid for cake.
Cream butter and 1/2 the sugar well; add egg yolks.
Beat well.
Add flour and bourbon, rotating.
Add vanilla; mix well.
Mix in nuts and raisins.
Beat egg whites until stiff. Add the other 1/2 sugar.
Fold into dough.
Bake at 275Β° for 1 1/2 hours.
Makes 2 loaves.
