Norwegian Puff Pastry
Norwegian Puff Pastry is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 cup flour, 1 cup butter, divided, 1 cup + 2 tbsp. water, 1 tbsp. almond flavoring and 1 cup flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
1/2 cup butter into flour, add 2 Tbsp. water.
Round into 2 balls.
Pat out dough into 2 long strips 3 x 12 on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bring 1/2 cup butter and 1 cup water to a boil.
Add almond flavoring.
Remove from heat.
Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well by hand.
Place this evenly over strips and bake 60 minutes at 350Β°. After cooled, frost.
