Normandy Cake
Normandy Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 tbsp. butter, 2 1/2 c. sugar, 3 eggs, 2 tsp. vanilla and 2 tsp. baking powder, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Cream butter and add egg yolks.
Cream again.
Add 1/2 of sugar.
Add alternately flour and milk.
Add melted chocolate and vanilla.
Beat egg whites and add remaining sugar to these.
Fold into cake mixture.
Last and most important, add baking powder by sifting it on the top of mixture, cutting and folding it in.
Bake in 3 layers in hot oven at 400Β° for 20 minutes.
