No-Bake Bars
No-Bake Bars is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. sugar, 1/4 c. cocoa, 1/2 c. milk, 1/2 c. margarine or butter and 1 c. peanut butter, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Lightly grease a 13 x 9-inch pan.
In a large saucepan, combine sugar, cocoa, milk and margarine.
Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly; remove from heat.
Add peanut butter and vanilla; mix well.
Stir in oats and coconut.
(Add more oats if you do not want coconut.)
Pour into prepared pan. Cover and refrigerate.
Cut into bars.
Store in refrigerator. Makes approximately 36 bars.
