Never Fail Rolls
Never Fail Rolls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 pkg. dry yeast, 2 tbsp. sugar, 1 c. warm water (105~ to 115~), 2 tbsp. shortening and 2 1/2 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Mix yeast, sugar and water.
Let set about 5 minutes.
Add egg, flour, salt and shortening; mix well.
Cover; let rise 45 minutes in warm place.
Punch down; roll out dough and cut into rolls. Press rolls flat.
Let rise 1 hour.
Bake at 400Β° for 15 to 20 minutes.
Can be used in bread machine by putting all ingredients in machine and using lukewarm water.
