Never Fail Pie Crust
Never Fail Pie Crust is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 c. flour, 1 c. lard (if crisco is used, you need 1 1/4 c.), 1 tsp. salt, 1/4 tsp. or less baking powder and 1 tbsp. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Mix flour, lard, salt, baking powder and sugar until crumbly. Mix together water, egg or egg yolk and vinegar; add to first mixture.
Thoroughly combine and roll out for pie shell.
(I use 1/4 cup water and 1 egg yolk.)
Freezes well.
