Never Fail Pie Crust
Never Fail Pie Crust is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 c. flour, 1 1/2 c. crisco (keep crisco in refrigerator), 1 1/2 tsp. salt, 1 tbsp. sugar and 1 egg, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Mix flour, sugar and salt.
Cut in Crisco to texture of small peas.
Add egg.
Mix together vinegar and ice water, then add to mix.
Bring ingredients together, mixing as little as possible. Divide dough.
Roll out to desired size on a lightly floured piece of waxed paper.
Makes 2 pies and 1 crust.
Bake crust 10 to 12 minutes in 425° oven.
Bake fruit pie 25 minutes in 375° oven, then remove foil that covers the edges of the pie.
Bake for 20 to 25 minutes more or until crust is golden.
