Nannie's Applesauce Cake
Nannie'S Applesauce Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. applesauce, 1 tsp. soda, 1 c. sugar, 1 c. seedless raisins and 1/2 c. oleo, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Cream oleo.
Add sugar; mix.
Sift flour and spices (saving a little flour to mix with raisins).
Add to first mixture.
Mix soda in applesauce and add to first mixture.
Mix raisins last. If too stiff, stir in a little more applesauce.
An 8 x 8 x 2-inch pan works nicely.
Bake in oven.
