Nancy's Beans
Nancy'S Beans is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 large can lima beans, 1 large can butter beans, 1 large can kidney beans, 1 can pork and beans (larger than the kidney beans) and 1/2 lb. bacon, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Drain lima, butter and kidney beans.
Cut up and fry bacon. Drain.
Save a small amount of bacon drippings (about 3 tablespoons).
In a large casserole, mix beans and bacon.
Brown onion in bacon drippings.
Add sugar and vinegar.
Cook to slightly thicken.
Add to beans.
Bake at 350Β° for 1 hour.
Freezes well. Can make sauce ahead and store in refrigerator.
