Preheat oven to 350Β°.
Cream together cream cheese, 1 egg, 1/3 cup sugar and vanilla.
Beat until fluffy.
Spread mixture on bottom of pie shell.

Beat 3 eggs until well mixed.
Add corn syrup, sugar, vanilla and salt.
Mix well.
Pour over pecans.
Bake 40 minutes.
