"My Homemade Kahlua" is an easy dinner. Made with 10 c. water, 6 c. sugar, 20 to 25 heaping tsp. instant maxwell house coffee, 1 vanilla bean before cooking or 3 oz. vanilla extract after cooking and 1/2 gal. vodka (fosnoff, 110 proof), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. In large kettle combine and heat to a boil the water, sugar, coffee and vanilla bean.
Let cool.
Then add vodka.
Bottle it and store in a cool, dark place.
